Same, and today's my Monday FML

Depending when I get out, I may watch Iron Man 3 since that's next on the list.

2 1/2" front lift and bigger tires and wheels
"Easy bolt on leveling kit, 3" lift, use your old shocks, bla bla bla."

Ended up at 2 3/8" lift. Stock shocks are fully extended when the truck is parked. It completely blows out the original geometry. On the passenger side you gotta use a jack to move the axle far enough down. I see many blown out bushings in this truck's suspension in the near future.

The guy didn't even want me to replace his cracked brake lines wtf smh yeah he knows the risk, for decades he was a classic car and airplane restorer.

And my beautiful brand new rear brakes are squealing because... I apparently used piece of shit pads and all the dust is causing it to squeal like a pig.

I’m trying to convince him to do the EG disk brake upgrade. Bolt on besides the parking brake pawl.

Legitimate question; how many miles were on those old pads and what made you replace them?

I've read about others having 100k+ miles on their brakes and the rears had plenty of life left.

There was a good amount of meat left on them, but the owner wanted me to change all the brakes so I did. The fronts had 70% life still.

Id like is better if this particular forum wasnt using an archaic layout.

Oh well, I only plan on posting when I need last ditch answers about automation. Customer service rep at my local parts house couldn't answer my question so I had to create an account. Had my answer in a few minutes.

Centric. You’d think they make good stuff, apparently not. I didn’t buy the cheapest shoes and drums either, I got the middle of the range ones on RockAuto.

Huh. Thats the first time Ive heard complaints about their stuff. I always hear great things about their rotors especially. I like Akebono for pads but thats just me.

My truck is badly due for front pads. They’re the original Tundra ones from when I did my conversion ~20,000 miles ago.
