I found solid axle, ls3 swapped regular cab and i was wondering if it would be better than a built jeep. Both are around 45k and i was wondering which one is better.

I would not purchase someone's creation unless it was done at a reputable professional shop.

    This.
And even if it was built @ a good shop, I'd insist on a VERY detailed list on what parts were used.

I would want to see all the tube terminations. Especially the cowl and coilover tower areas. I would want to see motor mounts and cooling setup. I would want to know the axles specs, looks like tons but nowadays you can run any outers on any housing so I dont take anything at face value. I would want to see how well front dshaft clears links/trans pan/oil pan/starter.

Honestly you can learn a bunch of great skills and build that whole truck yourself. That is a cookie cutter build. And you would end up with a mig, bender and plasma for future projects and still have $10k left in your pocket.

I do like how they ran the exo, but thats because you really cant run them that close to the body, but I wish you could as it looks so much better. Unless that cab is solid mounted to the frame and even then first lay over and you will have tube bent into the A pillar which will rattle like a bitch constantly.

And looking at it again, the tube looks undersized.

I don't think the cage will do well in more than a slow flop.
    Needs:
    crossbar across cowl
    triangulated @ top of windshield
    X across back window
    larger tubing

None of this even brings into account the tubing to frame mounting points. Whole cage needs to be redone. If the most obvious part isn't correct, what else did they cut corners on?
