It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
So what makes it easy to peel the unwanted part after you make the cut with the knife tape?

Science. You just don’t fully press the vinyl down on the part you wanna pull up, I imagine. I haven’t actually done it.

@chiefcrunchy, ok let’s plan on exploring the trails in the area of the SNP and avoid the area closer to wolftown. I think I can follow the track we took this week. I would like to be able to at least get someone to join me twice a month, if not every week to go exploring.

Is it like tint where you soap it up underneath and it doesn't stick for awhile?

You could, but I think that these newer 3M wraps have some awesome technology built in with tiny channels for air release, and it lets you peel it off and stick it back on while you form it. Some say to not use liquid.

I drove someones 26 foot rental truck earlier that had zero oil in it, no power steering fluid, a faulty master cylinder, was a 2005 model and had 150,000 miles on it. Guess which company it belonged to.

So all name brand films now have air release, or channels. When you hard tack the film down it collapses the channels and causes adhesion. For a knifeless tape application you would typically soft tack the edges, using a soft squeegee or wrap glove, pull the knifeless tape and backing, then hard tack the edge. It really is super easy.

There are dry applied films and wet applied films. If you wet a dry film, throw it away. The wet applied films are less orange peally because no air channels, so for gloss films they look better.

Yup. I'm honestly not sure how they are able to rent such awful condition trucks to people, like this one should have been in a scrap yard somewhere.

I had a horrible experience with them going cross-country. I emailed them to complain and they didn't even care.
