Thoughts on flooring color? We think this is our winner of the vinyl plank.

Nothing compared to most of you, but new swing frame. 6x6 treated posts are heavy! Need to add corner braces and then I'll take the temporary cross braces off. After this, I'll be putting I'm new hardwood floors in the house.

Been pecking away at my deck for almost a year now. Finally got one of the finishing touches on it. The end railing on the left and the gate. I guess the people who originally built it didn't own a square because nothing was square and by now these post we're all twisted and curved. Had I known it would be this much of a PITA I probably would have hired someone to deal with it.

EDIT: nowhere near perfect, I know, but I'm still calling it useable.

For houses, square is an illusion, not a reality...

Actually its a pretty small pump. You're not getting to "big ass" land until you get into the 60m range.

Perhaps I've been living in 1932 a bit too long...

In 1932 my house was already 50 years old. Square isn't even an illusion, much less something that was a consideration lol.

Shit mines a 1965 brick ranch and I have one door frame that is probably a 20 degree edge. If it wasn’t just a transition to another room and had a door, I might’ve fixed it.

When I was building City Center in Vegas, I went to the World of Concrete convention, Puttsmeister had their 70m one there, its fucking huge.
You should have seen how much area it took once the outriggers and everything was set up and the boom was extended flat out. Made it pretty much impractical for what I typically build, but still, just to stand next to that behemoth. 63m is what we usually use. I even have a spec chart I typed up in my hard hat so I dont have to go looking for it all the time just so I know the area I need clear for the pump.

    364363DD-C197-479B-8535-55B87414645D.jpg

Heres the specs for the pump I saw:
The world’s largest truck-mounted concrete boom pump was created by Putzmeister America, a producer of machinery for the concrete placing industry, and successfully used by Associated Concrete Pumping. The 70Z-meter pump features 227 feet of vertical reach and 212 feet of horizontal reach. It features a five-section Z-fold boom for maximum flexibility and has a 59-foot outside turning radius. The 70Z’s 10 axles come off the ground to steady its 176,000 pound weight.

Here it is heading over to Japan for the nuclear debacle:

We just had the 12 x 18 living room carpet replaced with "wood" ceramic tiles. I will replace the base boards with stained pine next.

Well my cheapish tool bags I've had for 3 1/2 years finally gave up the ghost. Their replacement arrived today:
    IMG_20191003_173903.jpg

Figured I may as well spend the extra to get something quality.
