Got my watch and the Diamondback mostly fixed up. No kitty this weekend, she's still too small.

 

We had an intruder on one of the local repeaters playing country music. Probably someone who bought them a Baofeng and decided he was going to get on the air. We burned his ass up when we got on mobiles and talked over him without any acknowledgment at 50w. Hell some were talking over him with ht’s that were closer.

They were talking about getting the fox hunting gear out and finding him.

 

Yup, no limit to stupid.

 

Guess he doesn't realize some of those guys will track him down just for the fun of it. Plus he was on the radio club's repeater. He try that on any of the digital one's and he would have been shut down immediately.

and here i thought the military used the worst radios... that thing would break if we just looked at it.

 

Actually, I believe it may hold up better than the Alinco. Built to commercial standards with a IP54 rating.
