Got any photos of the trim work? Did you hammer that pinch weld into the truck or away from it?

Here are a couple. I hammered the pinch weld in towards the truck. But I I wanted to keep the trim that was there, so after I pounded it in and coated it, I put the trim cover back over it, then heated with a heat gun to flatten it and give space.

You can also see where I cut some small part of the trim. A lot of heat gun work, but not obvious I don’t think.

(Also I still need to weld the cmc cover plate).

I had really bad rubbing before, now none. I’ve tested it out on some semi rough terrain in 4wheel drive, cranking the wheel in forwards and reverse. Not one rub now.

Damn. I went at it with the grinder and hammer yesterday and I ended up just cutting the plastic first off. Thinking back now I should have done what you did and put the plastic back on after hammering the pinch weld. I coated it super well with weatherproof sealent and put black rust preventable rattle can on it. Almost looks out of the factory! but the plastic being cut has left a hole for mud/snow to get into. I'll just have to use the power washer down there really well after wheeling or scavenge for a replacement fenderwheel liner. I'll post some pics of mine as well. Thanks!

So if I'm running TRD Sema Wheels w/ 265/70/17's would I need to lift 1" for clearance or would I do that to level (or both). Was thinking on the Billsteins 5100. This is a daily driver. Thanks..
