I watch reruns all the time.

 

Mower gas tank update:
It's leaking like a gallon jug with the bottom cut out of it. So today I removed the tank in question.

Gave it a nice little sponge bath

And decided to give the JB Weld another shot on a clean, dry surface. Gonna check it tomorrow, if it's still leaky leaky, I'll start over and try the tape.


Btw; I called the local JD dealership today...it seems that shitty little tank is $145. I figure after I put a hundred into trying to fix it I'll end up buying one.

 

I find it’s usually cheaper to fix shit the right way the first time around. By the time you get a new one and put it in, you could have got two new tanks.

 

Try filling it up and trying the torch method. I hear it doesn’t fix it, but it will be the least of your worries.....

 

I'm sure I'll be buying one but its gotten personal. I feel I need to win this battle. But I won't.
