    I had front and rear Hotchkis bars on my '99 GMC. I miss that truck every now and then.

    Keeping your Sport a "street truck" doesn't mean it won't take you places other such designated trucks won't. An off the show room sport will get you to hunting cabins, remote camp sites, down logging trails and dirt roads. Serious offroading may not be it's forte but it's a very capable truck even with 2wd.

    Absolutely, my 2003 taco gets me all around on stuff like that. If you know Block Island it’s 10% paved and 90% dirt roads. I did just fine once I learned not to bite of more than she could chew. No sandy beaches and no grassy yards after 3days of rain, had to learn that the hard way. It was not fun trying to clean up 6 inch trenches in a million dollar homes front yard before they got home.
