    I got one ever better for you because dealers are so awesome (sarcasm).
    I had every figure done and when I got to finance I had a certified bank check from my credit union to give to them. So I started filling the check out, he stops me and says we don’t take those. WTF?!?! I asked why not. He said we have been burned many times with those. I said sir the bank gives you a validation code and will fund it right over the phone right now. I’ll sit here with you to verify it all goes through. He said sorry we can’t do it. I laughed and said you will take a personal check that could bounce tomorrow but you won’t take a certified bank draft with a 100 percent guarantee? He still said no. I told him what an idiotic dealership they have who doesn’t like money apparently. What a joke. Got up and left. Did business with a real dealer.

    I didn’t describe my experience.

    I went back and forth with my local dealer. He said final offer 36,000. I said no. I will do 37,000 out the door. He said 37,268 if you come now (7:30 pm). I went straight down. Spent an hour arranging finances and signing papers.

    Last minute, he slips in saying it would be 39k OTD because he made a mistake in his quote to me. I told him he was a scumbag predator sales punk and he could shove it where the sun doesn’t shine as I walked out the door. I also told him I planned on exposing his unethical sales tactics online.

    He texted me after I left and asked that I not expose him, and he would talk to the owner in the morning.

    After he groveled to me the next day, I returned and bought the truck for the original quote.

    You can see from my previous post, I got the exact deal that I wanted and demanded.

    They will try every dirty tactic to suck every dollar possible out of you. If you’ve done your homework, you can make the right deal happen, you just have to be mentally stronger than them.

    Wow, now that is brutal. Just think the balls on someone to come in after all that paperwork, and basically be like yah uh, I change my mind and the price just went up, not like a few dollars due to a math error, but almost 2 thousand dollars.

    I would have said take 2k more off the next day before buying it from them. Yeesh. I need some hand sanitizer for my brain.
