Ah hell, I'll just say it here.
My pops (79) fell outside back on July 16 breaking his hip and two ribs. Laid there for two days before we found him. While in the hospital developed a perforated bowel from a pre-existing ulcer then contracted a colon infection. Went through two surgeries and then just quit eating. Has been in the hospital going on 74 days, lost a total of 61 lbs and they're telling us he probably won't make it much longer or if by some miracle he does, he'll be bedridden for his remaining time on earth. I've been balancing that, two households, 4 dogs (two here two there) moving houses, my job and my wife just got a new position requiring travel one week a month. I'm a busy dude to say the least.

Well, since you said it, I really wondered about your dad, and if that was the root. So sorry man, because that was my worry for you. tonight, I will just leave it at if you need something, let me know. When I lost my dad, it was in a hospital because he was "doing everything right", and when sis called and said "we lost dad", my first response was "where?" You are a FB friend, so feel free to drop anything there as well. It's so hard to just jump on line and truthfully ask "so, life?" We all got you bro!

 

I feel for ya. My grandfather is in the hospital right now as well as my aunt (his daughter) and they're both not doing so hot.

As callous as it may sound, I'm not stressed or depressed about it. This has been going on long enough that I'm kinda numb and its almost routine now. Crap happens and we have to chin up and keep going.
Improvise, adapt and overcome.
