Kai Greene is a professional bodybuilder

He’s in a couple documentaries and seems really down to earth. Talks like there’s more life than bodybuilding and you should want to be yourself and is into acting and arts which is cool. He’s not just a bro douchebag meathead type

    Thennnnnn

Morning y’all. Leg day today with some jogging since the bike trails are too wet to ride. Scale was a solid 179.0 this morning which is promising and almost makes you just want to not eat at all until you hit your goal weight

the wife told me that we might end up staying in Virginia Beach for a few years which means I’ll be able to run on the beach and last time I was there I saw they have workout areas on it too. Beyond stoked.

    A little reminder for myself.
Left work Thursday, drove 4.5 hours to a fishing camp, got in bed around 11 and woke up at 5 to go get on the boat and fished for about 6 hours, went to bed Friday night around 10:00, woke up at 5 to go spend another 6 hours on the boat and went to bed around 10:30 last night to get up at 6 to head home this morning.
Even though I didn’t get as much sleep as I wanted to this weekend I feel so much better because of not having to worry about anything but minor details while we were fishing, the stress will wear on you and you don’t necessarily notice the stress, just the irritability, tiredness, and “bleh” feeling from it.

The most I’ve ever weighed was 172, and that was Dec 31. Summer came and I cut...now I’m just eating whatever I want because I got in the “I don’t care” mindset. Still only at 154, but I’m a fat 154.

Its incredible that when you are stressed you kind of brush it off like “oh its no big deal, just go with the flow” especially if you are a positive person. The stress slowly steals more and more from you over time. So slow you don’t notice. Then those times you get where the stress starts falling away you realize how much weight you’ve been carrying around.

Glad you got to do some fishing and destress!

    Day 4 of IF.
Got in a solid workout this morning despite being 14-15 hours into a fast and being a little hung over. I got to work a really cool fund raising event last night pouring my breweries beers (which were fucking delicious) and the tent next to us was a local whiskey distillery and we all share free drinks LOL. I didn’t drink that much but didn’t drink water all night so I felt it this morning.

The IF is going very well, but the problem I’m seeing with myself is its hard to eat the same daily calories in 8 hours vs my normal 12... thats can be great for folks who have weight to lose but I don’t. I’m struggling to jam the cals in and I’m wanting to forgo veggies and fruits because they are high volume foods and I’m just full.

So goals are to get my fruits and veggies in and try to get my cals between 2500-3000 in my window.

Energy is great, I feel good. I only get hunger pangs and tummy growls in the am because everything is empty but I’m not hungry. As in I have no emotional/hormonal response to hunger.

Why fast if you don’t want to lose weight?
