My cousin's 2017 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD, which she bought new and has put over 60K miles on it in just two years! Luckily, she has 0% financing!

With my 2010 RC and my uncle's 2017 AC 2WD TRD SPORT in the background...

 

My uncle has a good friend who owns a salvage yard, and he went there to get some parts for a 1969 AMC SC/Rambler clone he is restoring. I accompanied him, and he found the gutted shell of a 2010 RC 5-lug auto!

 

My uncle's friend who owns the salvage yard says that when he obtained it, the engine and tranny were long gone. All he knows about it is that it was severely damaged in an accident, and the place he towed it from more than likely bought it for parts. The inspection sticker expired sometime in 2015. My uncle's friend brought it to his yard in 2016. Just about every usable part has been removed from the truck, and it's been rotting in the salvage yard for almost three years. The engine, transmission, and rear diff are gone

Three years of exposure to the elements have turned this truck into a biohazard...




And I thought my truck's interior could get disgusting at times!




The Taco was well hidden behind a Cadillac, and the Caddy’s front bumper can be seen in the bed of the truck...




My uncle actually found this truck and told me about it. I walked past it once without even noticing it!







My uncle cut out the seatbelt buckle for my truck, so I can put groceries or my friend's dog in the front seat without having to buckle the seatbelt and worry about the alarm going off...




That is the tailgate in the bed, and I caught a glimpse of the dealer emblem. This truck was purchased at Williams Toyota-Scion in Sayre, Pennsylvania. This particular dealership is almost three hours from this truck's final resting place! That other twisted chunk of metal is what's left of the left rear fender, which is actually still attached to the truck and contorted into the bed by the force of the accident; Also notice the front bumper from the beige Cadillac...
