I dont think my riding shorts have a buckle. Have a couple pairs of Fox Rangers.

Looks like a nice pack. If I get fed up with my small pack this looks nice.

The smaller Hotlaps version with a single bottle. Just need to figure out how to keep the strap from loosening. Being in FL, if I can ride with nothing but a bottle and a small saddle bag I am happy.

I also sport the rangers. My older ones have no buckle, but the newer models I have do use a clip style closure.

Similarly I’ll be running that hot laps fanny for the first time tomorrow. I'm planning to bring a large clothes pin if the strap loosens up on me on the trail. I'd imagine a zip tie or duct tape could be a quick fix too. If it becomes too much of an issue, and once I get the ideal fit dialed, I'll pull out the field sewing kit thats in my truck and pop some stitches in the belt.

Gotcha, I have that one too. I haven’t noticed any issues with it loosening actually. I tighten it a lot and lean forward like I’m in a riding position. Idk if it helps but I like to think so haha

Who knows about shimano pedals? These are the XT Pdm8020. I think they are serviceable but I’ve never owned them so not sure what I should do, tighten and clean up the grease or repack the grease?

Depends what's "wrong" with them I guess... There's a small hex screw on either side that controls retention. It should even be marked which direction for tighter/looser. If that's what your asking.

Got new rubber ony bike, and had the front hub overhauled after an endcap somehow fell off and i rode with it like that for a while.

Went tubeless with them, DHF and DHR II. This is my first time running tubeless so any advice or tips would be awesome!

I’m more talking about the grease leaking from the spindle. That nut was a little loose and I’m guessing grease started leaking. There was some weird resistance when it was loose. Hopefully I didn’t mess up the bushing or bearings or whatever they use since I didn’t notice until after my ride.

What sort of wash/rinse systems are people using? Looking for self contained and powered units. Have seen a few built into the larger bed cubby, any experience out there?

'20 Django is built, pics to come. 31.5 lbs, definitely built on the heavy side:

    Lyrik fork (150)
    Saint M820 brakes 203/180
Raceface AR35 on Formula hubs (for now)
    Assegai 2.5 Exo+, DHR2 2.5 Exo+
    GX Eagle drivetrain
    OneUp 170 post
    OneUp pedals
    Deity Skywire/copperhead

Haven't ridden it on trail yet, still recovering from a heavy crash a couple weeks ago. I imagine it wouldn't be hard to shave off more than 3 lbs with lighter fork, drivetrain, tires, brakes, and wheelset.

Anyone here have issues with your tailgate hitting the hitch rack? We recently had to switch from a tailgate pad due to purchasing a camper. Our hitch rack tilts but still collides with the tailgate when it’s down. Any cheap hacks to get it not to collide. Was thinking a drop hitch attachment potentially.

We have a rocky mounts hitch.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Welcome to TW. Nice rides!

I made a hand-pumped system using a Home Depot garden sprayer, sold for fertilizer, deck stain, etc. I added a squeeze nozzle and hose extension of the type used for kitchen or laundry sink sprayers. Works great, though only lasts 60-90 seconds before needing a repump. I use it more as a personal shower than to clean the bikes.
Edit: like this but I used a smaller nozzle https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Portable-Camping-Shower/ Total cost less than $20.

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
Went and hit a couple trails at the Tyler State Park this morning for National Public Lands Day before doing some hiking and trying out the new Merrell hiking boots I bought yesterday while at REI in Dallas. Pretty sure I am going to end up getting an Osprey Savu Lumbar Pack pretty soon as I tried one one while at REI and liked it a lot and would rather have the option of having two bottles on me instead of limited to one with the Camelback pack I was looking at.

I ride Tyler state park all the time! It’s definitely one of my favorite trails. It’s pretty rough, so it’s much more fun on a full suspension! I used to ride it on my hard tail but like it much more on my full squish
