By Christmas the percentage will improve. 2019’s will be gone and 2020’s will be all over the lots in Texas.

My local dealership has a white TRD Pro in stock at 5k over. I'm very tempted to buy it but will wait it out for another 2 weeks or so to see if I can find one out of state.

 

If you want it for MSRP, just tell the dealership that's what you're willing to pay. That's how I got the $6k markup knocked off mine. At first they sounded unwilling, then they tried to negotiate. I just told them I was willing to pay MSRP, but not a markup. They called back a half hour later ready to sell.

 

I posted a screenshot of the email conversation with that same dealership a few days ago in this thread. They can go pound sand. I hope nobody is stupid enough to pay that markup and it continues to sit on the lot.

 

I was finally able to close on a deal for an AG Pro from a Phoenix dealership. Got $2500 under MSRP with an ETA of end of October to mid-November. So glad that I remained patient and didn't jump on MSRP!

 

Some of these PRO prices vs a fully loaded OFF-Road are making me rethink all of this. Need to stop obsessing haha

 

Nice, but can you skip on that tint. Lol, they probably are only tinting the fronts too.

I tried another dealer looking for an AG Pro, and he claimed they had one, and they don't mark it up and they'll sell it to me for MSRP...and the whole time I knew it was too good to be true. The guy calls back a little later and says "yeah, we do have that truck, but it's already reserved for the owner's grandson." Of course.

 

Can anyone tell me if you will be able to start the 2020 TRD Pro from an app on your phone? I thought I read somewhere it would come standard for maybe the first two years and then for a small fee you could keep this as an option?

Yes it is part of the new Entune 3.0 system. I think it was $80/year after the trial period (can't remember how long that is offhand).

I'd love to have that on the MT, wish they could have figured it out. Or at least give a discount on the yearly cost since we can't use that feature, which is probably the most useful one.

 

$500 for tint? Holy smokes, they are probably paying their tinter $100 for that job.

 

Just got off the phone with a dealership in Arizona who's willing to do MSRP on a PRO! 45 minutes of browsing the web to save 5K. Well worth it.
