Be careful with Grub-EX. Stuff may be toxic to dogs.
use in an area where dogs don't frequent .
There's several non-toxic products around, but I don't know how effective they are.

    Edit:
Some say it's not toxic once it's watered in, but I won't take a chance for my 4 legged friends

Oh, I will, and thanks for the concern
I have an electric fence that runs close to where I have to use it . She only gets into the flowerbeds close to house and never makes it to the lawn. I’ll turn it up one setting just to be sure. Mostly she is out back anyway . That’s how I laid out the wire.

    Cool.
Just more stuff to be concerned.
My back yard is fenced in and I don't use any chemicals anymore since the dogs are there. Crabgrass is green, right?

A guy I know had a GSP that died at a little over a year old. He had a lab verify that it was a liver cancer that was traced to a major fertilizer co's product that he used. An out of court settlement was awarded to him.

Wow, that's crazy! I read the instructions and you're right, it says it's ok after watered in but I never used it where my dog would be, just didn't feel right but I never thought it would kill a dog by giving in cancer in under a year!

I, too, use the Scott's Rotary spreader. I believe settings are on the bag of GrubEx.

Also, I time the spring spreading before a rainy day or two. Try to keep the pup out of that area for a few days after.

I put it down in the spring. Last year I didn't put any down and the lawn was destroyed by the grubs AND the skunks and moles....I watch the weather and put it down minutes before rain...It spreads it nicely. I may do a second application this fall. I have an open bag sitting in the shed...My REPLANTED areas are nice and green and of course crabgrassy because I have a Darwinian lawn...survival of the fittest and mow it...

Dealt with some really crappy rust forming under my rail caps. Also repainted my total caos bed stiffeners since the powder coat was coming out.

I have had great luck with the Mother's kit. It worked really well on my ex's extremely oxidized 2004 WRX headlights.

    Morning all.
Firewood is now completely done for the season; built a small woodshed up by the sunroom and filled it with the leftover odds & sods from this year's firewood, for the wood cookstove we have out there. Usually I just stack it and tarp it. No more making a mess by lugging wood through the house to refill that wood rack.

Morning bullshitters. 36F at my house this morning! Had a pretty crap morning of fishing and then came home and cleaned out the sled trailer so I can set up my flip over shanty in it. I'm gonna trick that thing out so it's easier to overnight in it.

Can't, gotta put the truck cap back on top #stormtrooper #dogsinback
Or ya know six years of New England Winters, should be good for another six years. Little one will be driving in 15 years, she can have it then. You'll have corrosion issues due to mixed materials anyhow lol. Though I want a beater Ford or Tundra for camping towing that I literally won't even clean lol but wife may end up leasing an Armada next year
