    Thanks guys.

The last 10,000km have been rough for me. Warranty repairs: Steering intermediate shaft (3-week turnaround), power steering rack (7-week turnaround), AC low pressure hose (4-month turnaround, and still broken. The first part was “defective”, or installed wrong), and now Needle bearing (unconfirmed, but seems likely).

Need new tires and an alignment before snow starts flying.

Gonna replace LT265/70-17 Duratracs with exact same tire. Got 5 years / 80,000km and still life on them. Just no longer “winter worthy”, remaining tread is too low and hard.

    haha that I can do.

Prolly keep the kms off the taco till parts come in, the axle seal hasn’t failed yet but it may if the CV keeps flopping around.

Gotta see if Hallmark Toyota will fill the warranty claim, won’t even need the tool that way.

@Shveet i think you worry too much. I don’t have a front plate on mine and it’s been almost 4 years now. I drive all over and haven’t been stopped yet:fingerscrossed:

and taco does look better without the front plate

I keep it in and when I wash the truck, get the line out and rinse it with the power washer. On those mild days I just give it a clean.

Looking good. I'm still waiting for mine.

Made a couple of filler pieces for the gap below the headlights. I used a GrillPro BBQ mat P/N 72596, a bit thin so the lower edge turned out rumply. At some point I'll make another set when I find some thicker rubber mat material.

    Thicker rubber mats...
Check out the material we use for the rock/splash guards, might be something useable if you can find any?

That PA mat is interesting. I wouldn't go with neoprene though. It's a foam-like structure, it'll hold moisture AF.

Anyone have a use for a completely useless piece of crap, make your truck ride like shit rough country spacer lift? Only has about 10000 kilometers on it. I will guarantee it to mess up your needle bearing. Be the envy of every 14 year old kid at the mall. Free to a good home..... doesn't even have to be a good home.
