Have you tested this one at least if it’s already working this time?

Well no. I pulled this one out of the priority mail box and returned the faulty one in the same box to the vendor. This unit has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks. Sold my truck last saturday. you are more than welcome to swing by and see if this New SSP works in your truck, though.

I have one of these and love it. I got mine used on TW and this is a good deal. It will sell. No brainer upgrade.

Not yet. Simply a budget to cash flow reason. I’m generally a strong and early adopter of technology, but the price point of a used ShiftSense (like op has here) which can be recouped in a BS thread if needed made it a no-brainer to try, and it solved my frustration with the shift points...so I’ll put the other 600$ into something I want vs something Toyota should fix.

Again, OV has it right, and the R&D time and updates are expensive, but for me the price point holds me back. Three out of four Ps of marketing. If it hits 399 with a dongle flash they will be installed by the dealerships.

SO you once you drop the $700 on the OVTune you still have to pay for the updates. I thought the updates were free?
