I'm not shutting down, reorganizing, having a new larger shop built, and completely changing how we do things for no reason. I understand and accept the criticism. Just because it hasn't been finished yet does not mean a plan is not in motion.

URD and Doug Thorney both sell catless exhaust tubes for this truck with no tune.

They didn't say that buyers would get tunes either. Are you really accepting the criticism Mat?

Yes I am. But we will be selling hardware and there will not always be tuning involved.

Not sure how this is relevant to your previous comment. Can you explain?

Sure. It is relevant because the people whom are asking right now for dump tube tunes via zendesk are the people receiving a check engine light with catless dump tubes, with the expectation that the tune fixes it, which we have never promised, and URD and Doug Thorney both sell catless tubes which will give a CEL and nobody needs a tune for those or even expresses interest in obtaining one for them. So the idea of this hardware having to have a tune is not correct, as non tuned versions by other companies exist, and we have posted that the dump tubes will run fine (not ideally, above 6000) on 1.05. They were advertised to come with a tune that corrects this top end drop in power, but not the check engine light, and I fall back to the examples of others on the market that have no tune and give a check engine light.

Came on to see if the new beta tune dropped, and WTF is up with all the hostility?

Then why is shawnkc10fe's Taco going to fail safe mode if it doesn't need a tune? In a zendesk reply you said the updated tune will eliminate CELs. Is this no longer the case?

When you get a check engine light for anything on this truck that happens. You lost traction control, cruise control, ABS, etc.
I don't think I've said it *will* but *may / should* but again that is not a guarantee.

Sounds like it needs a tune to me.

Here's a quote from your 14 Sep 2019 zendesk email reply; "Check engine light on the beta tunes may happen but we already have a solution for that we just have not distributed it." Which led me to believe it will be in the update.

I'll change the subject. Real question will a pedal commander help with the tip in throttle concerns ? mostly wondering about off road 4low .

Why not just take the dump tubes off for now till the 2.0 tune is available?

Same pre-tune release angst. This time it started with the dude who installed the dump tubes without a tune and then complained about a CEL. A keyboard warrior then followed intent on starting shit.

Off road 4 low, use a non-performance tune.

So I'm guessing no beta update tonight. Lol... Since I'm pretty sure Matt is pissed off.

So on a good note. I took a trip from Pittsburgh area to Sandusky Ohio. Just my wife and I and about 300 lbs of gear in the bed. Truck ran flawless. I got 22.3 on the way up with no air conditioning and 21.9 on the way back with air conditioning on. Shifts were smooth and predictable. Truck shifted nicely to 4th to pull moderate grades. Power was good. No complaints
    2.0 ole beta. 87 octane.

I don't think he's pissed. Just working way too hard to try and get things done for us plus moving plus a newborn. He needs to take some personal time, stay off TW for a few days and spend some well needed family time. :hattip:
