    Hello All...
Thought I'd make my first thread on here and share my new "Taco Kit" with y'all.

    1. Bug-Out / Hiking Bag (contains: Multitool, LifeStraw, Paracord, Kershaw Folding Knife, 2 Emergency Sleeping Bags, 3 heavy duty locking Carabiners, 5 12hr Glow Sticks, Hand Chain Saw, Mini Binoculars, Gloves, KaBar Field Spork, Hand Crank Emergency Flashlight, Waterproof / Stoormproof Matches & Some Zip Ties.

    2. Crescent Metric Socket Set (recommended by someone on here!? Wish I could remember who?) Standard metric socket set with both regular / deep well sockets & 2 extensions in a hard case. This is a VERY well made and excellent socket set especially for the price.

    3. Military First-Aid Field Kit This kit contains EVERYTHING. Seriously it is a Survival Military issue kit. It contains 52 different pieces. Including small knife, flashlight, compass, etc. It is very thorough and came highly recommended. Can be attached to packpack or belt.

    4. Kidde Small Automotive Extinguisher Standard smaller size automotive Fire Extinguisher.

    5. Apple iphone Charger.

    6. KaBar Winshield Ice Scraper.

    7. CLC Tool Bag (contains: Dewalt 16oz Hammer, Stanley Prybar, Husky 3 Pliers Set, Husky 4 various size Screwdrivers, Irwin Pliers, Irwin Vice-Grop, Metric long handled Hex Wrench set, Milwaukee Folding Knife, 2 Size of Crescent Wrenches, Electrical Tape & Zip Ties.

    8. CLC Strap Bag (contains: 4 Husky Ratchet Straps, 2 Yellow Ratchet Straps, 2 19in. Bungee Chords)

    9. Hvedegaard Knives Custom Hand-made in Denmark Tanto knife & Sheath.

as a suggestion, I would drop the wall phone charger, and get a portable battery like:

    https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh/dp/B00X5RV14Y/

You may also consider a solar charger as redundancy:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XBGSS2R

Edit: I carry a couple similar batteries in my truck and one of the solar chargers.

That knife though. If it was 3v I’d order one now.

You never know what weather you well have in Oregon. I also carry a gun and extra ammo. For Protection and food if needed. A small folding shovel and axe for a fire.

Yeah, I have a portable charger on the way. The chord is just a back up. I like that solar one though. Thx much.

My wife and I found it really amusing when I was unloading my 4Runner before getting the Taco. I can't even imagine what the police would think had they ever searched my car and looked at the wide array of "stuff" I had tucked in there. I had binoculars, rope, duct tape, zip ties, tarps, axe, shovel, saw, knives (many -I like knives lol) and about every other possible "need". I can just imagine a cop thinking "Okay there Dexter, what are you up to here"..... Plus a big box in the back with recover gear, high-lift jack and full size max-axe mounted to the top with quick fist clamps. Probably part of the reason the 4Runner was getting about 13mpg. But, I've already outfitted the Tacoma with much of my perceived "needs". I did take a lot of the recovery gear out as I won't be wheeling the Taco for awhile.
