Such a tease lol. I can't wait to start adding some photos of mine in a month or two! How is it driving for you so far? Has their alleged transmission adjustments caused any noticeable gas efficiency improvements?

 

I'm just here to smugly tell you if you bought a lower-tier tacoma, you coulda taken that extra money and replaced your OEM parts with Chinese ones and it'll look the same.

you really need a better camera/phone. That truck looks every color but green.

 

Honestly my first target was a fully loaded 2020 OR in cement, but the pricing ended up being so close to the Pro that I decided to just roll with the Pro, AND I get it in AG color. Yeah, yeah, yeah I could've waited to get a 2021 OR in AG, but I've been LONG overdue for a new vehicle (been driving the same car since 2006) and have been looking to snag a Taco for about 3 years now. I'm tired of waiting and finally have the dough and credit to roll on it now. Tired of tagging along with friends with off-road capable rigs while I'm stuck with a 2 door Solara lol.

 

Honestly, I don’t know, gas mileage is not good but I also drive it aggressively. Last I checked mine went as low as 12mpg... never had a car with good gas mileage so I don’t anticipate this one to be any different. I never owned a Tacoma so I can’t really compare on the transmission but it seems to ride well cruising at 80-85

 

Ah ok gotcha. Apparently they've re-tuned the transmission computer so that there isn't as much "gear-hunting" that was an issue on previous year models.

 

Confirmed with my Uncle, who is a sales manager that he is holding next months allocation of '20 AG Pro for me. I wont be picking up until November, but he said it wont be an issue to hold for me until then. I offered to do the transaction via mail, since I am out of state, but he said that wasn't necessary. Only option will be predator side steps for my 5' tall wife and NO holes drilled for front plate. The only disappointment for me is that I saw pictures of 2020 Pros and thought the fender flares were going to be color coded. So, will either be a trip to paint shop or aftermarket soon after delivery.

And what airport is that?? I've been to most of the small airfields in Socal when I was doing flight training, don't recognize it

haha yea that was me! Whoa what a small world, I think I saw you with the kiteboard lol. The airfield was in corona, have some friends who run business out of some hangers down there.

 

Nice! It’s no Spruce Mica though. Still love a green truck. After seeing the new color in person I’m still fond of Spruce, this color ain’t to bad though. Enjoy the new truck!
