Dude I am just trolling you because I know how you are with Kyle and days like today he makes life pretty hard on guys like you. Sorry, you are just to easy to fuck with. I hope one day KB does something amazing for you for having his back when he is clearly a dick of a human being.

What track would you say is more difficult to drive? It has nothing to do with wins, HMS has been in the toilet for pretty much the entire time Bowman has been with the team and he is out performing both the 24 & 48. Bowman is not a rich kid like most you listed, he came up and was successful in sub par equipment and did not have a bunch of sponsor money. Bubba had a huge leg up with the diversity program. I am a fan of Bubba but I think he is frustrated that he signed a deal with the 43 who is trash. He is close with RB in the 12 as is AD and those guys or that click is doing what they can to help the drivers in there click and not on board with keeping bowties in the chase. Bowman did what it took to get to the next round. He has been driven the same way he is driving people right now, you get what you give. When you do not like a driver you call them out and say they have no talent, I mean I remember when you were preaching that Chase has no right to be in the car he is in and that Chris Buescher was a better driver. Truth be told the best driver in the field probably is in some crap equipment sitting in 30th every week but is not able to showcase his abilities because of his equipment.

The long and the short of it is this, Bowman had a car with zero laps on it to start the race that was damaged because of a mistake he made on lap one. He had to finish 2nd to advance. He is beating the bumper off your car for three laps with fresher tires and you not only block him you tell him to F off all the way around the track when his season is on the line. What outcome would you prefer? Bowman does not cry about shit, he does what he does and owns up to it. It is cause and effect. The sport needs this or it becomes a bunch of cars following each other. Perhaps he should have just quit.

Here is a little history lesson on Bowman if you care to learn and you will see his performance and body of work is superior to the drivers you like to mention. Give the dude a chance man.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Bowman

I mean he did finish 2nd at all three of the tracks in the next round earlier this year so it seems logical that he feels he has a good shot to advance if he made it past this round. I suspect everyone else knows that and it makes him a huge threat moving forward and that is why some drivers and organizations did not want him to advance. Almost like the 43 might have been trying to hook up his buddy in the 12.

"NASCAR officials plan to speak with Bubba Wallace after his post-race altercation with Alex Bowman following Sunday’s Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR executive vice president and chief racing development officer, indicated Monday morning on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that the competition department would intervene before this weekend’s events at Dover International Speedway.

“I would say I will be having a conversation with Bubba Wallace. That was really not classy whatsoever,” O’Donnell told SiriusXM. “I understand that drivers have issues with each other during the race. We totally get that, but with drivers on the ground being tended to by medical personnel, you need to be smarter than that, and we’ll have that conversation with Bubba and we’ll see how that goes, obviously prior to Dover.”

You still cant convince me Buescher isnt better than Elliot. Hell Roush straight up fired stenhouse and stole him from JTG.... Amd Bowman did get his ride from JR... As far as Johnson, he's done and Byron cant adjust to equipment... I don't see Bowman setting the world on fire.... HMS is the top chevy team... So hes in top equipment

Kyle Busch started fill time with HMS in 2005. I think we can all agree that HMS was a much stronger team in 05/06 than they are now. Below are the results from KB's first two years as a full time driver in cup compared to Alex Bowman. You say you don't see Bowman setting the world on fire but per the graph below he could be better than KB! I mean he finished four positions ahead of him the the points in his first year and all he has to do is make the next round and he will beat Kyle in his 2nd. Bowman got his ride from JR because JR followed his career and knows he has the ability to drive the car. He wanted him in his JRM car but could not get sponsor $'s for him. I mean have your opinion but with the proof below you would have dumped KB at this point in his career so think about that!

Of this I have no doubt! When you will not apply logic, track record and performance to the equation. I mean you just watched the man crash his car in the last stage, start dead last and come back to beat the field by several seconds without crashing anyone. Meanwhile KB got a flat in the first stage and could not overcome it. Yeah...

This is why I hated Gordon for years. It was his fans who got to celibate more than anyone else but could not handle it when he had a bad day. I mean more often than anyone else you get to be the winner but on days like yesterday just take your damn medicine! And show some respect to what someone else achieved, we all do the same for you week after week.

Holy shit he threw gatorade on him while he was on the ground. Ruthless and I love it. If that keeps happening every week I'll be tuning in

Statement from Jack Roush regarding tricky Ricky, OUCH!

"Stenhouse has failed to finish 28 of his 248 Cup starts and failed to qualify at Talladega in 2014. We are going to work on our cars being faster and not repairing them after they are damaged," Roush said.

A low blow from Jack, but I'd expect no less knowing the stories I've heard about Jack's management style. Jack has a rep for being grumpy and running a pretty toxic work environment. That's only 11% crash rate over his entire career. Ricky wasn't inherently bad as a driver, he just wasn't great in Cup equipment. I think he would've excelled with a lower downforce package or bias-ply tires. he was a loose is fast type driver. Look at his stats, he was a consistent performer, just not a top performer:

He is being represented by a company that Harvick owns so maybe they will find him a home at SHR. Who knows. I think it is safe to say that Suarez is out of the 41, I would think that Cole would take that spot and with the money behind the 10 I would think he is safe but it might be time for him to leave also.

Compare Ricky's numbers with some others from the same era. He's not bad, just not great:

    Driver/ Starts/% Laps Complete/DNFs/Avg. Finish

    Stenhouse: 249 / 95% / 28 / 20.3
    Truex Jr: 508 / 96% / 59 / 15.9
    Kyle Busch: 527 / 95% / 55 / 13.7
    David Ragan: 463 / 95% / 54 / 24.3
    Bubba Wallace: 69 / 96% / 8 / 23.8
    Almendinger: 371 / 94% / 39 / 21.3
    Almirola: 309 / 93 / 38 / 19.8
    Blaney: 155 / 95% / 20 / 17.3
    Bayne: 187 / 95% / 28 / 23.3
    Jones: 104 / 94% / 14 / 16.1
    Keselowski: 370 / 97% / 28 / 13.9

Saurez isn't going anywhere. He brings lots of $ and, aside from Cup wins, his numbers are better than Stenhouse, Almirola, and Patrick. His numbers are only a tick off from Bowyer's perfomance.

Bowyer is loved by his sponsors. They would bolt from SHR if he left. So he's good on $, too.

Almirola is also loved by his sponsor, so he's set as long as he doesn't tear up equipment.

They can go the JGR or Penske route and "align" with a smaller team to give their up-and-comer a Cup seat until a veteran decides to hang it up or they can justify cleaning house. GoFas or Front Row would make great alignments.

I would love a Front-Row affiliation. I have rooted for those guys for YEARS. IIRC, that organization is basically the remains of Robert Yates Racing which was the remains of Ranier. That team has a lot of history with drivers Lenny Pond, Buddy Baker, Cale Yarborough, Davey Allison, Ernie Irvan, Dale Jarrett, Kenny Irwin, and Elliott Sadler.

Shoot, it's been IROC all year. I've noticed the sound of the cars this year is off. I went back and watched some racing from the mid-90s and the cars sounded great. If you go back prior to the Dr. Gas exhaust from '95 and the cars sounded raw. I watched some early oughts IROC racing and realized the current Cup cars sound just like the IROC cars of twenty years ago. They're so restricted these days.
