    I can’t take credit for coming up with it but @Mt.Boy did a great writeup a few years ago.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/need-input-on-fog-light-switch-mod-replmnt.246095/#post-5944563

    Basically it looks like the FJ switch everyone buys uses the same molded base as the Tacoma switch so this mod enables the use of a second indicator bulb. The hardest part is getting the light guide to align in its slot in the switch body because things are tight. I used 0.15” clear rod because it’s what I had around but things would’ve been alot easier to fit with 0.125”. Would’ve required less fitting and trimming but I’m thrilled with the results.

    Edit: also despite what people say it’s easy to remove the fog switch without dropping the dash panel. Just remove the coin tray and then mirror adjust switch. With that out you can just reach the bottom tab on the fog switch with a flathead to release it. Took mine in and out several times that way.

    Interested in parts info for the block and oil pan heater if you have them. Are you installing a trickle charger directly into your truck somewhere so that its always with your truck?

    Lift, tires, stuff
    Thanks. I love it so far. The lift was done about a month ago, and I got the tires last week. Still gonna do skids, sliders, rear bumper. Maybe a locker?

    Block heater is made by Toyota and super easy to install. Pan heater is just a heater pad made by Kats. I stuck it to the side of my oil pan with high temp rtv. And yes the trickle charger is mounted on the side of my battery. All 3 items are plugged into a 3 way splitter so I just have to plug one thing in at night. Pretty straight forward. If you have any more questions feel free to pm me

    Splash guard ripped and some clips broke. Got a roll of tool box liner stuff, traced the old guard on it, bought some clips off Amazon and boom. Like new.

    @HomerTaco

    After talking with my uncle over a few beers last night, he said my grille mesh would look better in silver.

    Today, I picked up a can of Duplicolor at Autozone and my uncle helped me take the grille apart...
