Totally agree. My BMW lighting is my favorite (amber/orange/red) and my 01 Taco is the same. If I get a 2020 it will be a big adjustment.

Yup. Blue or red are easier on the eyes at night. I find almost all modern car instrumentation to be too bright.

BUT...I'm a light-sensitive person, and I live rurally and drive a lot at night. Not many streetlights and it's very dark out. Instrument cluster tents to reflect off the inside of the windows too.

You'll probably have a better time if your final paperwork is with the guys in LV. The guys at autonation tempe are absolute snakes... and a signed offer with or without a deposit doesn't mean anything to them in my experience - they tried to hit me with more than a $3,000 price increase between the order and delivery.

Personally I would require a signed purchase order from them before I flew there.
When I went to get my truck in Charlotte I had the dealership sign a PO and fed ex it to me. I in turn signed and sent it back.

Yeah the sales manager said that once he got an exact ETA of the vehicle, we would discuss exactly how the paperwork would be looked over and finalized, whether it be through a maverick or for me to come in person.

Big favor...can someone with a 2020 TRDOR post a picture of the switch panel to the left of the steering column? I know they changed it this year but I can't find a good picture of it...

Yep, not my truck but I saw it on another site this morning. I was wondering the same thing before I saw the new one.

Sorry I didn’t see your post. My truck came out to about $56,000 Canadian...not sure what that is in US funds.

I just came back from my local dealership since they said they received a Sport and OR. When I got there, they realized someone messed up on their website saying they have an OR. The sport still needed to pass PDI so I just did a walk around and then I test drove a 19 OR.

After test driving, I told them I am leaning towards a 2020 OR. I wanted it exactly in Voodoo Blue and cast aluminum steps, mud guards, premium package for the leather (and now realizing you need to buy the advanced tech package if you go premium). They said bad news is they don't have one and good news is their sister dealership has one for almost the same set up (they had predator steps and the door edge guard) which is about 2 to three hours away.

Cool I said, but they won't ship it down unless I put a deposit and they actually get a OR so they can do a swap. They are quoting me for MSRP of 45,562 and can lower it down since I am military. I wanted an exact price so I can start emailing dealerships but they also said "pricing isn't the issue, we will work with the finance/monthly payments to get it to where you want". The monthly payments may look good but in the long run I may be spending more. I'm kind of stuck on what I can do now to lower the price lol.

Ah, now I see. You have direct experience with them. I hate dealers like that.

So it looks like only one spot for an "OEM" looking aftermarket light switch. I hope the blank spot to the right on the upper row is empty behind it. I'd like to run my planned Redarc brake controller switch there.

Another possibility is to buy the 16-19 cubby and the switch expansion offered by a few companies and you'll have more options. But that really only opens up 2 total slots (3 where the cubby would be but two taken up by the traction control and the cameras and then the already existing blank for the manual transmission clutch button).

Playing the waiting game and also the buying strategy from a thread I found here on TW. I started emailing dealerships with that 45k MSRP quote I got and will let them argue amongst each other.
