Got this all together this morning, very stable. I’m probably going to switch to a shorter arm so the iPad tucks a little tighter into the dash, and swap the end caps on the mount for smaller ones. Overall the concept is very sound, and I like it though.

No cooking, but plenty of drinking lol. A old friend of mine played at river road ice house last night, so we got a group of long lost friends together to surprise the singer.... we got a touch out of hand.

How will you be wiring the mirror up? Been trying to figure that out. Got the same mirror myself

Simple chassis ground on one leg, the other I already wired up my CH4x4 switch to a relay and have the wires behind the dash for the positive leg. I’m thinking they won’t draw more than 20 amps but couldn’t find any hard data. Without a timer I will have to make sure to turn them off after 20 min or so, but I am ok with that.

Should be the same as long as you used a fused source and powered it through a relay. You definitely don’t want to run the load of the heater through the contacts of the switch.

Something like this but obviously mirrors instead of lights. The colors may be off depending on your switch but everything else would be the way to go.

Hey man, I’ve been wanting to ask how you replaced the steering wheel emblem. My emblem has chrome paint that is chipping so I wanted to take it off and give it a new coat either matte black or shiny gold like on the older Toyota’s with gold emblems

I took the steering wheel apart and drilled the rivets out of the airbag to get to the back side. It would be hard to put the factory emblem back in, but if you are careful how you cut it out, you could superglue it back in.

Thanks man. You know how to wrap in para cord? Kinda want to wrap my oldie steering wheel since the rubber or whatever tf it’s made of is chipping and sticky from the heat.
