Fluid filmed all the things. It’s that time of year again. Love how they say “don’t get it on the exhaust, it’s not heat resistant.” I mean come on, you need to spray literally everything around it, it’s going to get Over spray. Don’t mind me, I’ll just be cruising down the road like my rig is on fire for a week or so.

I follow several threads on this website and I have to say I see more unnecessary bad behavior (few posts back) on this thread than on any other. As a kid I was a big fan of Jack London (Call of the Wild, etc) and I’ve probably read every short story he had written. One story in particular, A Goboto Night, is one of my favorites and taught me the benefit of adult behavior. This story helped me a lot when I was young and some of you might also find his wisdom of value. It is only 3-4 pages. I’m not good at computer stuff so I’m not attempting to provide a link. Search on “Saturday Evening Post, A Goboto Night, Jack London,” and you will find the whole story. I know this is off topic.

Wow! Super insightful. Well done... & by the way, did you happen to steal that attempt at an insult from a middle school child? It reads just like you did...

& apologies to everyone who had to read that exchange. Inferno75 had his feelings hurt by a simple joke & a few people, including myself, stepped up to defend the guy he tried insulting. I’m done. Please, continue on with 3rd gen mods.

Not what I did to it, but what I did with it. Used it to haul 3 trailer loads of oak wood left over from cutting down 2 trees. The damn trailer tires were starting to squat. It’s only a 5’x10’ single axel trailer though. The Tacoma only went down about an inch.

Stopped by the Ford dealer. I dunno why I'm so attracted to this Race Red Raptor. But at nearly double the price of the Tacoma, I just don't think I can justify it...

Just watch a few YouTube vids about cleaning the throttle body then look at yours. Not hard at all. Disconnect the negative lead from the battery. Disconnect the inlet air tube from the throttle body by loosening the inlet hose clamp, unclamp and remove the small hose on the back of the inlet air tube, unhook the top of the air filter, and pull it all out of the way. Disconnect the electrical connector on the throttle body. Then there are 4 bolts with 10 mm heads on them to remove (be careful not to drop them, they are hard to retrieve. Ask me how I know) Only use “throttle body cleaner” to spray into it. Clean both sides and the flapper edges real well. I used a tooth brush and clean shop rag. I don’t know if it was really necessary but I replaced the gasket when I reassembled. Put it back together and you’re done!

Just finished installing my soft tri-fold bed cover. Nervous as hell as to whether I have everything tight enough, but more nervous about having shit too tight and it snapping.

Will snap pictures tomorrow, looks good, my first bed cover. Pitch black outside, been hiding in bed off truck with a flashlight fucking with all the mounts cause I wanted it done tonight.

Guy deleted his post about the ranger...think he was bummed that he bought the sr taco and the ranger he found today had a lot more amenities for the same price or less...and he’s always been a ford guy to boot
