When I go meet up with @GHOST SHIP should I refill my fuel jug and take it with me to avoid gassing up out there? o_O

Everytime I go through main parts of Cali, hopefully not again for a decade or two, I hypermile and bring my own jugs. Almost made it through the state once

I always do when I go down Highway 1; it's almost $7/gal. at some of those places.

Why do you keep asking Toyota, you'd have a better chance asking a metallurgist or a welder, hell maybe if you tweet one of the mythbusters they'd at least have a snarky answer for you. Toyota, especially any dealership will have no answers for you, SPOILER ALERT, they don't fucking care and haven't for at least 15 years. Your particular truck was never even eligible for a frame replacement, at best they would have bought it back if it were rusted in the period that they still gave a flying fuck. But at this point you've missed the boat by at least 18 years on that, it's an old truck. Some parts will rust, yours is 24 years old now, if it were going to rust out like the others than it would have by now. You're taking good enough care that it's made it just fine to this point. Why are you getting so damn obsessive over it; smoke a cigarette, stroke one out, pet a puppy, just calm down, spray a can or two of fluid film all over it every year and enjoy the truck.

@GQ7227 Now here's an ole boy who is just going to "Get-R-Done" and lift that bed right off that Chevy truck.

I just don't get it. What does he want to hear...

Him: Hello Toyota?! Yes, my old ass truck might be rusting... it doesn't look like it but I've seen others that do and now I'm having a hard time breathing normal...

Toyota: Sir, your truck is old and we no longer care, even before we didn't care, that's why we bought them back instead of fixing them. Rust happens and we used cheap steel supplied by the lowest bidder. Have a good day and stop calling.

    Him: *calls back* *heavy breathing*

Eh, ignore list ftw. I quit wanting to hear about rust 24/7 in every thread a few weeks after he started posting here regularly. He can call me selfish and mean if he wants, but it wont change how I feel. Its worse than that one guy at your work/school/church/whatever that wont stfu about politics 24/7. And yet people keep feeding the troll...

I don't think it was much cheaper up there from when we were in the area last weekend, most of the places along the 5 though were closer to $5 so it might be a good idea lol.
