    I made the owner a promise that I wouldn't give the location (at least not publicly). He's got some other pretty valuable vehicles on the property and doesn't want people showing up hounding him.

    Cool find. Closest thing to a 2nd gen Taco in a pick n pull near me that Ive seen was a 4th gen 4Runner. Still lots of interior trim in good shape in there.

    Most of the wrecked newer trucks near me get sent to the auto salvage yards that sell online, or pull stuff for you and ask higher prices for things. Its hard enough to find 1st gen tacos in yards near me, and if there are any, chances are its a 2wd 5 lugger.

    One of the only 4x4 first gens Ive seen in a yard. Yes it was left like that by the yard operators. IMG_20190712_122555814_HDR.jpg

    I see tacos and 4runners in junkyards as money making oportunities. If you know the right stuff to pull, you can flip parts quick and make a good bit of extra money.

    The cab of this truck appeared to be solid, as did the frame. However, I would not want the frame if it were the pre-recall original frame.

    I always am checking the online listing for my local scrap yard and have never seen a Taco. I have seen a few 4runners. They get picked pretty clean very quickly.
