But sometimes the right hoomans get the right dogs, and then the universe just makes sense.

Absolutely. My dog and I are so similar and we have an understanding. Bad at first impressions and need to be worked hard enough until we fall over or else we will go crazy.

Draco is saying “Yes finally found a good home” He will be a good dog once you train him. I found lots of patience I never had before. And patience goes a long way when training

Indeed. He's a forever dog. I'm not quitting on him. He got dropped off a the vet for a checkup a few weeks ago and nobody came to claim him. Based on his records, I am led to believe he is a "repeat visitor" :(

We're changing that trend for good. It helps that he's cute and great to pet once he simmers down a little post-walk, getting home, etc.

6 years or 6 months? He looks really young if it's 6 years. Congrats on your new pup!

That's awesome. He looks like he's in great shape.

I can't wrap my head around giving up on a dog. It's so awesome you're there for him.

He looks a little more weathered in person, but a very healthy dog none the less. One of my friends said "he looks like a pissy old man that can't find his pants...but has 28 patents funding his retirement" and it's hilarious because that is a PERFECT description of him.

Exercise is your dogs friend, if I do not take Barney out and have him chase his balls I throw, he is getting into trouble with Mom. So I get him out at least 3 times a day and we play. Best thing I ever did was put in a fence in part of our yard. Makes things easy and he knows if a leaf fell onto the grass, he goes out and scans his property, I can only imagine what he is thinking, but he is my buddy

I have a large fenced backyard, so I am covered on that front.

After a long drama filled ordeal Cindy finally was able to rescue him out of the environment he was in. When we got him he had infection between his toes, nails were so long they were curling under causing him pain to walk. He had severe ear infections so bad Vet had to put him under to clean and treat.
He is such a good little dog and is so happy now hanging out with Buzz an Roscoe. Here he is leaving the vet today with a total clean bill of health.

Went home for “lunch” at work today. Why eat when Mishka has her needs?

Here’s a couple pictures of my Vizsla Pup Luca on a trip to beavers bend. This trip was also my Tacoma’s first time off-road.

Mine is the same way. (4 months) He goes 100 mph until it’s time to lay down. He’s crashed out on his bed (my bed) right now.

    Unemployment is not ideal...

...except for the part where I get to spend a lot more time with the pup. Get to wear her out.
