Yes, Boeing. Fourteen years, over 10 thousand hours, never had a computer “go down.” If it did, there’s more than just the one, so there’s redundancy. There’s still standard radio Nav heads, for traditional, ground based Nav aids. And if those big screens puke, there’s standby flight instruments.

The big screen in my Ram has never puked either.

That makes you 07 Ranger leaps and bounds sweeter than my 08 Tacoma. If it was a purple Splash edition, I’m super jelly.

I saw a gladiator in person yesterday. It looked really funny. I think it was a base model fleet vehicle. The initial ones I saw posted on here when they launched didn't look too bad. This one was completely disproportionate.

The base model sports do actually look disproportionate, especially with the soft top. Hard tops look fine. Bestop is going to have to come up with a halfway decent soft top for the gladiator. Hell, even the JL wrangler soft top is hideous. I hate the new design.. especially that they removed all of the zippers

Get some pictures up when you get it! I don't think anyone here can deny they look reeeally good once they get some big rubber stuffed underneath them.

I think the removable top gives them some real potential. And being the popularity of Jeeps there’s a high likelihood some of the ideas bouncing around the interwebs will come to market.

This is probably my favorite. The challenge of the full hard top would be any frame flex. A soft version with an external rack would be sweet though.

Sealing inbetween the cab and bed may be a little tough as well. But that looks pretty cool kinda like an extended Defender.

It appeared on the lot today. I don’t think (or I am telling myself) I won’t go full wheeling rig like with like my taco. Even though I could run 35s without gears and not break shafts. Plan to do a DD mild off-road truck. Plan is sliders, 33 mud terrains and maybe some lights and a factory metal bumper if I can get a deal. I will probably try to build a rear wrap around for fun again but the styling might be out of my design skill set.

Time will tell maybe I’ll get rubicon axles and an atlas in the future.

And since it’s a Toyota forum what it’s replacing.

Love it since its basically MGM, I think you should start a build thread for it on here. I'd say go with the 35's on it, the 285's on the Rubicon at the dealer here look like 265's on a Taco. These things were meant to have 35's.

Edit: I still just can't understand why Jeep didnt offer any other cab configuration. If there were a Ext cab with a 6 foot bed, it would be in my driveway.

Take it from someone with 35s.. you’re gonna want a regear at the very least
