Anyone know why gas jumped up $0.50 this last week? Seems ridiculous.

 

One claim is difficulties at several refineries. The other is the Saudi refinery attack.

Not to worry, the refinery thing happens every year so they can jack the price up. Or so it seems.

 

I hear Middletown will have it's Hardester's store rebuilt and running this winter! I hope they do the Gelato bar again, heh

Great weekend!

Made camp. Weather was a bit ominous.

Saw some of the signs we were looking for on our first (short) evening hunt.

Clouds looked a bit harsh.

Had a great dinner the first night. (notice the white stuff on the ground)

Had freezing rain then snow.

Everything looked a bit different the next morning.

Found the Mountain's butthole.

And the Nightmare Before Christmas tree.

And a snow flower

Tent was amazing... even with snow and freezing rain, I was toasty as hell.

And we took a nice ride this morning after we broke camp, before we came home


And the prep for the next trip begins.

 

And, after this weekend... Jen greenlit the purchase of an annex for the RTT... >> already on order

 

Pretty soon she will green light the Drifter. It’s an eventuality...

 

It's a possibility...

I just can't ever see myself going there.

 

The simplicity of it all is worth its weight in gold.

 

Ya... but a drifter costs more than my truck is probably worth.

 

There is a used one for sale in NM right now... plus, don’t undersell your truck. I’d say it’s been well maintained by a super fastidious owner. That gives it a high value.

 

My supercharger and headers costs as much as the car it went on.

The one I opened (to see the brightness) looks like the one on the left. Nice heavy-duty bracket that I wasn't expecting.

 

I’m guessing you got the CG2 model. Works out for you. Specs appear similar so I won’t sweat it.

I just want matching lights. Either would be fine. They just sit at different heights and have different words on the front bezel which would drive me crazy.

 

it wasnt bad, pretty mild compared to what I thought it would be.
