Why thank you, I am glad you asked :)
You sound like that 3rd gen guy from Jersey that preached to me last month lol
    my situation is 'complicated'
but i would think that they (Toyota motor corporation) knows the ins and outs of the product they sold to millions of people outside of the warmer climates and maybe there are others like myself concerned about properly protecting it until the engine blows up or wheels fall off, etc.
now that i see these trucks attaining 200k~300k miles or more i am pretty sure the engine will last like the energizer bunny

I have been a 'loyal Toyota customer' for 25 years come next year and thought that that alone could afford me some genuine professional advice from the experts i thought cared about their customers!

they are now messing around with my wallet AND my health and i do not take kindly to it.

i'm sure they will, but nearly $50k is a lot of bones!
and knowing what i know now, thanks to TW, my expectations would be uber high on them,
i think there are some frame problems all the up to the '17 model, can you believe that!

prices are beyond stupid. Especially when the materials to build the truck ain't there to justify it.
