Hey everyone, new here and looking for some answers. If you go to the Toyota website and look at the options for a 2011 DC LB 4x4 it says that the Off-Road Package is an available option. I've read on here that in past years this is not available on a double cab long box. I've also spoken with a few local dealers that say it's not available either. However I did find one dealer that said they can't locate one but it could be ordered! Does anyone know how I can confirm this? I've heard so many conflicting things that I'm not sure what the truth is. If I can't get a long box in a TRD Off-Road then that makes my decision pretty easy.

    Thanks!

Like you said, in years prior, the DCLB and did not come in a TRD off road package. That's all I can say to help.

Thanks. I need a long bed and really want the upgrades that come with the Off-Road Package over the Sport. Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction. Does Toyota USA have an email address that I can send questions to? I couldn't find anything on the website unless I created a user account.

    Thanks!

Ive seen one, but they should offer it. Im sure it would be a popular option. My guess is that it would only be offered in Automatic.

Ya it does show it as an option on Toyota.com but it could be a mis-print? But if not Im sure it will be a rare configuration, like the 4 cylinder crew cab 2wd...RARE!!!

I saw where it is mentioned in the link you sent. However, I went to try and build one and it only allowed me to build a TRD Sport in that configuration. I'm in Connecticut though so maybe it's different elsewhere.

Factory Rear Locker is an upgrade IMO from a LSD.

Off-Road's suspension is also tuned slightly different if I'm not mistaken.

I'll call Toyota later on this evening and see what they have to say.

Locker and different suspension can be added using aftermarket parts, and will probably be better.

I was in the same boat, wanted a LB with OR package, but they do not exist, never have and probably never will. So since I wouldn't compromise on the bed length, I compromised and got the sport package. A selectable ARB air locker can always be added if you absolutly must have the locked rear.

The TRAC system with the yellow wire mod will get you 99% of the places you want to go.

Even better than a rear locker... A-TRAC!

Called Toyota, and the person I talked to was less than helpful. She just said that if the vehicle isn't available regionally a dealer can still do a special order in order to get it. And it's listed as an optional package that's available for the DC LB 4x4 on the website. She said that for anymore details I would need to speak to a dealer.

Guess I need to test drive a few more before I pursue this further and commit to trying to get a dealer to special order one. That way if I can't I'll know whether I'm willing to give up the features of a TRD OR for the bed length of a Sport.

I knew that to be true for previous model years, but wasn't sure if it applied to the 2011's or not. I'm still going to see if the dealer can have one built that way, since it's listed as an available option package.

If not, then it's back to the drawing board to decide what I'm willing to give on, bed length or off-road capabilities.

You're probably right, but it can't hurt to at least try. I'm sure the same holds true with the 2011's as it did with previous model years.
