Most major dealerships have abundance of 2019 sitting with up to 5k off msrp. If you see 6 army green pros sitting out there then I definitely got ripped off lol

    Yeah.
$3K under MSRP on my '18 Pro. I'm in NW Arkansas. I had a perfectly decent 2012 at the time and the salesman knew I didn't need a new truck, just happened to see it when I was in getting a part. He didn't think the manager would accept my offer, but he did. Mostly see full-size trucks around here, lots of Tundras.

Here in Los Angeles a 12k mark up is very normal on anything limited. You have to know there’s a lot of folks just swimming in money, a mark up doesn’t effect anything, they will buy for tax write off, be the first few, you tubers, etc etc... Toyota isn’t dumb, if a pro goes for msrp, buy it...

Yeah Findlay was a joke. I had no respect for the way that they handled business. Very slow in communications, and when I offered MSRP they said no and tried to sell me a 2019 Pro for what the 2020 Pro MSRP lol.

I guess if your rent is $12k per month it's a little easier to swallow.

Buy it on the East coast and drive it home. Never seen a pro over sticker unless it has stupid dealer accessories. Hell could’ve gotten one for almost 3k off sticker when I bought my off-road last year. Just didn’t see the point of spending thousands more for the same truck with equipment I’d swap out.

I think for a 2019 you can negotiate on that but for a 2020 you'd be hardpressed to find anyone willing to deal.

Also it seems like dependent on geography certain areas are more likely to negotiate vs others that won't

I got mine for way under msrp but I got it August 31st of 2018 when the 2019s were coming out. Sparks Toyota set the all time new sales record of 400 vehicles sold in the south east. They were willing to deal. I paid cash but got almost 6k off sticker. Deals are out there just gotta shop around.

I got mine for $43,049 The sticker was Base 45665 + options 1571 + handling 1060 = 48,296. so in the end $5247 off (2019 TRD PRO) picked it up a 2 weeks ago

I bought a TRD Pro 2 weeks ago from my local dealership after shopping around and comparing prices with out of town dealerships. I live in a small city and they only brought in two Pros (which were not selling). I showed them prices out of town dealerships offered me and I was able to get it my Pro for $52500CAD. I live in Canada where every '19 Pro came with the snorkel. Apparently it was hurting sales having the snorkel so the dealership was willing to lose money to get rid of one. Funny thing about this story is I went to the dealership today and noticed another '19 Pro on the lot and my salesman told me Toyota sent them another '19 instead of a '20.... They must not be too happy about it haha

Geographical inventory and sales will determine if you can get a Pro under MSRP. Unlikely you’ll get a 2020 for under MSRP for awhile. If th AG becomes the popular choice, it probably won’t sell for less than MSRP until late in the model year.

That's nuts! Theres a dealer here in Northern California that's selling a launch edition Supra for MSRP! 40K mark up is just insane!
