def not gay because i put trd stickers on my non-trd and i took it to the dealer for an oil change and complained about the truck bottoming out with dirtbikes in the back and he thought it was a trd so i ended up with brand new trd shocks all the way around and installed for FREE. so in my case not gay they were well worth the 6.00 I spent on the stickers

...actually i didnt lie about anything i thought i was getting non trd shocks and the installer called me when he was taking off my shocks and asked me if it was trd and i said no i put the stickers on, but he replied " well you scored cuz the guy up front thought it was trd cuz of the stickers"

I almost agree with you ....except i see the TRD sticker as the truck having the shocks , locker or lsd , certain level of trim , that cheap inverter too. So if i added a TRD filter , my base is still never touching the list of stuff on a TRD. To me TRD is somewhat of a buzz word upsell thing , I'd love the locker , i can do the 5100s and have better shocks and never need a sticker to prove it.....if it sounds like i'm knocking anyones TRD , sorry , its not really meant that way , a 2nd taco access cab v6 TRD does appeal to me , just wont trade what i have , it does all I need.
