    My factory skid plate is all scratched and dented up pretty bad. Damn, I need brakes on my 2nd gen, too many things to do, too little time!

    That's the thing, you can plug a truck tire. I don't think you can plug a bike tire.

    You shouldn't ever have to worry about that on your truck unless its from dry rot from one side sitting in the same spot so long. Most people dont have as much money as you do in their lawn ornament

    There's a time to repair and there's a time to replace. According to you, you just patch your bike tire up, just the same you'd plug a truck tire up! So drive 2 hours with your mt bike in the back of your truck. Go biking and then go wheeling, the best of both worlds!

    replacing is not a repair for a bad tire. you still have a bad tire, which is un-repaired. therefore, replacing a tire does not repair a bad one.
