Don't get your panties too tightly in a bunch. Clemson will win the ACC, probably a few more close games too, and they will be in the playoffs. The entire time, ESPN and myself, will do this after every close game :boink:. All you gotta do is have some faith. Trevor could use some positive vibes.

Don’t count on it. I’m sure something will happen and we’ll Georgia it up.
I’d like to see another 42-0 like a couple years ago, though.

At least I screen shot it and you quoted it, so it’s not going anywhere for a while. We have proof.

Based off of Alabama's national rankings and statistics, there is no way they should be number one.

Shoulda let them bulldongs or bayou bengals have it.

it is funny to me how they don't take some stuff into consideration for different teams.

like all I've seen since LSU has been a high powered offense is how the defense struggles so much and it has to catch up...but it ranks ahead of Alabama in total defense and no one discusses theirs as a weakness.

it's all pick and choose what they want lol

We're not even the best team in the SEC West right now. The AP ranking is based on Alabama's name. I'd 100x rather be 2nd.

And that dipshit Finebaum was on ESPN today saying how they don’t rank teams on “legacy” accomplishments.

Pick and choose is correct. Legacy performance is also correct IMO.

Which let's be real, that does have some merit. They've been there before-played the big games, they know how to win which certainly has some value in rankings

I still don't get why people get upset over mid season rankings, everything will sort itself out in the end it doesn't matter if you're 1 or 10 right now....especially the SEC when all the top 10 teams will play multiple top teams starting now. These rankings ain't messing up anyone's title hopes just maybe a record of most weeks at #1 :notsure:

eh, yes and no. that's true to an extent.

if you're ranked higher then it's easier to stay ahead by winning, but if you're ranked lower...not only do you have to win, the ones in front have to lose.

and anyone that's ever said the AP poll doesn't affect the playoff poll is just a liar lol, so these early polls DO have some effect.
