Made a 1/2" pair for a member. They look so tiny next to the 1".

 

Do these line up with the mounting holes? I think it's almost time to upgrade to these nicer mounts

 

They are an exact fit to the bracket shape and the holes.

1/2" seat spacers installed today.... Just that slight lift was enough to fix my seat and keep my head clear of the roof.
Fixing European Autos for a living REALLY makes you appreciate quality engineering and craftsmanship (sorely lacking in modern Euro Trash and the aftermarket that serves them. One size fits nothing comes to mind) no matter how simple. It's always a pleasure to install aftermarket parts that fit, look great and do their job without modification.

Sourced 10X1.25X40mm bolts, grade 10.9, flanged head at the local hardware store. Bolts for 1" spacers are 50mm long.

They're not tiny, they just got out of the pool..

EDIT, stock bolts = 14mm socket. The ones I bought use a 15mm socket, hence the 2 sockets in the pic.

 

Gearing up for my next run of seat spacers. Considering adding 3/4", and continuing the 1", in case any taller drivers may be interested.

 

Down to the last 2 pair of 1" spacers from the last run of 50 pair. Taking a break from manufacturing for a little while. Trying to work on some new prototype ideas as well as a quick run to the family place in Melbourne, Florida. I have ordered materials for 70 pair of 1" and 30 pair of 3/4" seat spacers. Probably will not have more available until late October or early November. Thanks to all the purchases on TW, other forums, ebay and craigslist for nearly 300 pair sold. Will post when more are nearing completion.

Have material for 70 new pair of 1". Bad weather preventing me from sawing (done outside). Hopefully start by Monday afternoon.

These spacers have been installed and work the same in 2020 Tacoma manual seats. Not tested, and may not be needed, in the new 2020 power seats.

 

Is one inch the standard people buy? I would love a set since I feel my ass sits low in the seat just dont know what size to get...

 

1" is the best selling size. I often make a run of 3/4" but those are targeted more to taller drivers and those with the head space affected by the sunroof. 90% sold have been 1" with over 99% positive reviews. Feel free to read my feedback on ebay ads listed as:
