I am close to pulling the trigger on a White 2020 SR5 4x4 Long Bed with Black Out Package. She's beautiful. Sticker price is $37,726. I've gotten them down to $35,737. They wouldn't budge from there. I went home to think it over and looked it up again on their web site and I saw that same price on their website. Then, I noticed a clickable "Unlock E-Price" and it goes down $500 to $35,237. I'm pissed I could get a better deal by clicking a button at home vs. being in store. I know it's a 2020 with some new features that I'll love but even at that "unlocked price" it seems steep for an SR5.

    Most definitely.

I know 2020s went up in price a bit from the 19s, but I got my '19 OR 4x4 with tech package for a little over $35k before TTL.

OP, I would keep looking around if I were you. Perhaps those prices are normal in your area -- I don't know -- but to me that seems steep for an SR5.

Go to Cars.com and do a search. You should be able to find something better. That's what I've been doing for years now, and I've scored some pretty good deals without sitting in the dealerships for hours. The age of lot hopping is so 20th century ;)

WOW that is a huge hit. You can pick up 2019's for 35,000 to 37,000.

Yeah they've got a few leftovers in the lot around that price, but I really like the Android auto, power seats, and bigger touch screen. I suppose I could just get an aftermarket head unit and live without the seats but I don't really wanna bother with it. Plus 2020 is a nice round number

What options are you getting added that make the total 50,000? Assuming taxes are +/- 7%, what options at you getting that cost +/- $4,000?

The rule on TacomaWorld is you're supposed to lie about what you paid. Which is a disservice to everyone else because it makes them feel like they overpaid and feel bad. $50k out the door sounds about right for a selling price of $44,560. Sales tax, title and license vary greatly around the country. Maybe the guy didnt get addons like tint, paint protection, etc taken off. Oh well.

To be fair I don't think people are lying. It's just a huge swing in pricing from region to region and dealer to dealer. Some dealers are higher volume, some aren't.

Now if someone said they paid $28K for a TRD PRO then you can make an acquisition like that.

According to the numbers that you posted, you got a way better deal in person in the store than was available on line. So go back to the store and buy it for $35,737 if you can.

Good catch. That's a typo. It came down to $35,237. I'll edit it. Better deal by clicking the mouse.
