Teaser of what we're sampling. These are my bottles that I brought.

Was a great stream. Loved how it evolved into a free for all at the end with some nice selections! Very nice pours were had.

Booker's is the only area that I can one up Matt. Otherwise, his whiskey selection cannot be touched. We had a great time. Him busting out the GTS for an impromptu head to head was awesome.

I seriously put Big Man, Small Batch ahead of both the Booker's 30th and 2017 GTS. It is such a perfect batch of Booker's.

    Thanks for hopping on!

The wife and I and a few buds toured the Jack Daniel distillery during the summer. Whereas the Old No. 7 whiskey is matured in several different barrels (to get the best blend of color, aroma and taste) - the Single Barrel whiskeys are matured by Jack Daniel's Master Distillers in one hand-selected, high-quality white oak barrel. Because of this, no two batches will taste the same. The barrels are then stored at the highest areas of the barrel house - the rising heat interacts with the wood more intensely to impart a much more complex color and taste.

JD is one I’ve never been able to get into. Little too strong tasting for my likes. :)

Sending this to a cousin in NY, says he can't get Antique Weller for less than $100 a bottle if at all. Was able to easily grab some for him for $40 a bottle.
