hey @thefatkid , Question for you? I have a friend with a 2007 tundra and the 4X4 hi is blinking. He took it into a Brakes Plus shop and they are quoting 2500 bucks to replace his t-case and reprogram the ECU. sounds odd wondering if this is something we can do on a weekend if we bought the parts. and if reprograming the ECU is needed just sounds odd? . he has around 200k on the truck. wondering if this is a common problem?

 

Aren't they electronic actuated like the Tacos? If so I would be taking apart and cleaning the 4x4 actuator, or replacing the actuator itself long before I thought about a tcase swap. Unless something is broken in the tcase itself, that's the wrong answer. Fairly common issue for the actuator to fail on the tacos. Not sure why you'd need to reprogram the ECU even if you did swap the tcase.

 

I’d also try giving power the the shift motors there is a chance they whent past the limit switches and don’t know how to correct themselves

I'm thinking about selling my Dometic CFX 50W. Would anyone be interested? Way below retail, used on two road trips. Stored inside, wiped clean outside of those trips. Some cosmetic scuffs on the outside plastic where it rubbed against my bed, but 100% functional. Includes the insulating cover, original box and everything.
