    If I get more it shouldnt be a problem to ship the muffler but it wouldnt be ready for install. Just a cut off muffler.

    I'm not currently setup to do a full exhaust.

    Have you looked at oem diesel mufflers. Like 07 and up. They should be similar to a 1500 hemi muffler in terms of I.d. but the availablity would be much higher.

    I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2.8 pulley in place of my 3.0. Is a fuel pump necessary for this?
    The fuel pump that URD supplies is not on this page either. Is it not recommended? Walbro 255

    Necessary, no. However, 2.8 is a "gateway" pulley and eventually you will want more. The walbro is fine, I use the aeromotive stealth fuel pump.

    My Walboro 190 pump (1st gen) works as advertised but whines like a stuck pig when it's hot. Has since I had it installed 2+ years ago. If I were to do it again I'd get an aeromotive pump instead, hearing your fuel pump scream on a trail is a bit unsettling even if it is supposedly a 'normal' characteristic of the brand.

    +1. Agree that pump upgrade is not necessary.

    Boost pressure is inversely related to elevation. According to Google, Bend, OR sits at 3.6K ft, where a 2.8" pulely should net you ~7-8 psi of boost. FWIW, I've have no problems running that on my stock pump. (Obviously, operating at sea level would produce different results and have correspondingly different fuel requirements.)

    I'm tempted to save that as my next sig for posterity.

    Bottom line: The pump is not a requirement. In addition to potential "whining" as listed above, I believe some folks experienced fuel pressure drop after shutoff with the Walbro. Once again, not wrong just may induce a longer startup time. I have not experienced this at all with my Aeromotive "Overkill" 320LPH.

    Just wait until he is stuck on the side of the road because his pump died on him. :confused:

    It's a risky roll of the dice to not do it and an outstanding question mark on a horsepower adder like a supercharger.

    Stock or aftermarket pump?

    This is the other side of the coin. I drive like an old man 99% of the time, but I’d like boost to kick in sooner. If I don’t need the pump I feel like the stock pump would be a better bet for overall longevity.

    This also describes my usage, and my boost levels mirror what you can expect. (Under "normal" conditions, I don't see more than 3-5 psi. The only time I see max boost is under WOT, which I rarely hit for more than a few seconds.) While a fuel pump upgrade is on my list of things to do, our driving habits and my AFR readings make me comfortable running the stock one until I get around to upgrading.

    It will certainly tell you if you're running lean, which would indicate fuel system deficiency.

    Fuel pressure gauge would be more appropriate.

    Unfortunately the 05-11 headers will not work on the 12-15. I was going to go this same route but the 12-15 has the air injection ports going directly into the heads. You would have to replace the heads or block off the ports on the heads. I believe @JustDSM can chime in on this.
