Wichita. I was stationed at McConnell. I was actually on the road for 5 of the 10... But I was still "stationed" there.
Absolutely nothing. I wouldn't have visited any of those states if there military hadn't sent me there.

I was hit by cars on two different occasions while cycling. It makes me a more cautious motorcyclist. That and power. I get the hell out of the way by moving to a better location. No longer will I sit back and wait for idiots. I get away from them ASAP.

I get the same comment every time I bring it up. Even if I say it jokingly.

Haha. I love Ohio. Columbus is like a grown up Sacramento. It’s the state capital but it’s livelier at night. (And like the 16th largest city in the country)
Enjoyed it there but my job has a lot more options here in California. But I’d consider moving back if the right position opened up. I also find the people generally much nicer and the drivers better, although a bit slower (in speed).
But Ohio ain’t for everyone. And there is more to do outdoors here in the great state of California. Plus, we’re closer to other cool states with great outdoors as well. So, not a knock on California, by any means. I like it here, and I like the Midwest as well.
