Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

I was about to order the LCA brace kit from Marlin, but I think I’m gonna wait and see how this shakes out.

 

I'll wait for the pics and explanation showing this. I am not following where anti-dive angle affects and makes caster go neg.

 

It makes the caster go negative the relocation brings it back to around 3

 

the ball joint of the UCA moves forward when suspension droops out (hence why you need alignment and aftermarket UCAs move the ball joint backwards as they are used for a lift typically)

 

Yeah apparently I goofed I meant to say positive in mine as well I wasn't thinking either.

What size tires do you have on it to begin with and do they fit OK?

 

I have a new set of 35’s and 295’s... I’ll be cycling the suspension with both and taking pics so you guys can see how they fit

 

I have 265s on my 2015 and will have to replace them soon. Like to go a little larger but god dang I don't want to have to mess with shit. Yours looks great with the 295s but I'm sure you had to do a little work to get them to fit.

 

Mine has 265’s in the first pic... this is the only one I have with 295’s on it

 

I read yours perfectly fine and didn't even flinch at the wrong positive/neg. thing. I completely understood what you were saying and juxtaposed it as well.

I'm going to have to make a little makeshift model of this and work it out.

I've got some 295/70r17s they only measure at 33.5 or something like that. What are your 35s measuring at?

The 35’s are on a 15” wheel and are true 35x12.5 not the metric 315’s

 

Huh they fooled me, I thought they were larger.

 

0mm off set wheels and saggy springs make them look bigger

Still they don't measure out to 35s. Most come up short a little some a lot more than others. I wasn't talking about the metric sizing anyways. I figured when you said 35s you meant that sizing. I see you went with BFG they are usually the ones that measure on the smaller side.

See now you are making me hurry up and find a spot I can start hacking on mine.

 

The 35’s are 1/4” shy of 35”
