What accessories did you get to raise the price up so much? I already know I'm walking out with less than $50k OTD for the Pro!

Mostly everything, Leather seats, predator tube steps, tint, factory lift, the advanced technology package can't remember the name. Basically everything but the tonneu cover and mudflaps. No paint protection either. I know I could do everything cheaper myself but this is an upgrade from a 2002 Tundra I've been driving for about 13 years, so I just want it to be nice and not have to fuck with anything.

I've shopped around, I'm in Phoenix this is what these trucks are going for here, I've seen a few Base trim TRD Pros for around 47k, then you have about 4-7k on top of that for tax title and license.

EDIT: forgot to mention I'm getting The extended warranty as well, that adds a few thousand to it.

I live in Phoenix too, man...and you got hosed. I bought my 17 TRD Sport with premium and tech package with tonneau for $36k OTD a couple years ago. They had about $39k on it at first. The most expensive OR from Camelback Toyota (just picked them at random) is $45k and in my experience you can get them to drop quite a bit from that without trying.

I'm not trying to bag on you here, but I'm honestly baffled as to how you ended up spending $50k on an OR.

Mines not the SR5, that's OP. Mines the fully loaded TRD OR with 10 year extended warranty

I bought the extended warranty too. Check your lift. I bet it’s a spacer lift. They’ll charge 2500 for a $300 spacer lift

Ignore the internet warriors man. Congrats on the purchase. TTL are not cheap and 50k is what the 2020's are going for fully loaded with options.

Ah, I guess that makes sense now. I'm only getting about 3-4 accessories added to my pro so I guess with everything you got it would add up quick and surpass my options. But I agree, I had an 03 Tundra prior to my 17 Tacoma and it was a huge upgrade.

    Thanks man I'm excited

I was almost tempted to spend the extra 3-4k for the pro, but I put aside 50k from my bank account for this truck and would have a real hard time spending even more.

Jet Jock (OP), I hope you have thick skin because some TW members can be rough at times.

With that being said, welcome to the TW forum and congrats on your new truck!!! Its filled with great tips and info but has some mean spirited bastards just like any other online forum. Everyone thinks they are invisible:)

Basically, all the undereducated ones on here that give you grief for picking up a fully-loaded 2020 OR w/ an automatic, and accessories added, AND an extended warranty are making it very clear that they no longer can afford a fully loaded Tacoma in the year 2020. $50k (Yes, dollars) out the door for all that, is actually discounted and people are just now catching up to that being the new reality for these trucks. Go to Toyota.com, fully option out a 2020 OR, add accessories, figure in an extended warranty, and throw in approximately 10% for Tax, Title, and License, and you come out to much more than $50k total. So congrats on your new truck. Cheers.

Someone on here says they snagged an Army Green TRD Pro in Phoenix for $2500 off MSRP. I didn't call him out on it, but I seriously, seriously doubt that. I have been calling all the local dealers here for the past couple weeks.

Believe me, NOBODY in the PHX area is getting a discount on a 2020 Tacoma, the dealers have no problem selling them, they fly off the lot. And people (including me) will pay a premium for them.
