Are these really 742 lb springs? Or is that a typo? 642?

Are you using the second clip because of extra weight in the front? I have a bumper and winch and have lost a lot of my lift on the first clip so trying to decide 2nd or 3rd clip to gain it back. My truck is super raked right now and I don’t like it.

You want to use the 2nd notch, possibly the third depending how much steel you got on the front of the truck.

I'm real heavy up front (165lb full steel bumper, skid trio, sliders, etc.), minus a 65lb winch right now...sitting on the 2nd notch...

hard to tell from the pic, but my truck sits level right now. the rear has a swingout with 85lb spare and 55lb jerry can as well. rear is a wheeler's 3 leaf AAL with the overload left in.

    2nd notch, IMO.

    Happy Tuesday!

Yea mine is raked a lot right now. I had actually set up one coil over on the 3rd clip setting but hadn’t reinstalled and hadn’t done the second one yet...now y’all got me scared it’ll be too high. I really don’t wanna take apart that coilover and reset it :pout:

I have a steel hybrid bumper, smittybilt winch, all steel front and mid skids, and then the sliders. I feel like you definitely have more weight than I do in the front for sure. Gah I really don’t want to disassemble this dang coil

No extra weight as of yet.
But running Dakars in the back and didn’t want crazy rake. Still have a good amount of rake on second clip though.

See and that makes me just wanna leave it on the third clip. Bc my rear is really high, at least 2 inches of lift. And with the weight in the front I still feel there will be a significant rake if I do the 2nd clip. Grrrr

What are you running in the rear? Mine is a full hd Dakar pack so I have about a 3” lift in that pic. With a 1.5”/2” AAL I would probably be dead level or slight bro lean..

I have a 1.5 inch headstrong Progressive AAL with overload leaf still installed. Which puts it roughly over 2 inches in added lift

But that’s the thing. If you’d be dead level with nothing added I have over 200lbs of extra weight up front. That’s my concern

@Nightscape what's your ride quality like at 2nd clip with no weight?

I was expecting it to be pretty rough but it’s very comparable to my prior 5100/887 with single AAL setup. Maybe a smidge more stiff up front.

I’m thinking of getting this kit with an AAL from Wheelers Offroad and Camburg Uniball UCAs.

Will that clear my 33”s? My wheels have a zero offset.

Yea. I have zero offset wheels and had no issues rubbing stock UCAs with this lift.

I am on the lowest clip as well. On the drivers side the swaybar barely misses the support bracket. On the passenger side there’s more clearance. I don’t know if it makes a difference but the driver side is the one that has the quarter inch taco lean spacer. I do not see how the clip would make any difference on whether that hits the support bracket or not. What would help is if the relocation brackets were a tad thinner.
