The oil caps turned out awesome!

If anyone who didn’t buy a kit wants an oil cap, hit up Clutch Masters, they had extras machined on hand in case. I know they want to get them added to their website too. They recently got a whole new color anodize line so they are experimenting a bit with the colors they want to offer before they get too far with it I think.

Damn I saw this too late as well. I would have loved to jump in on this group buy. Let me know if you ever try to organize a group buy again. I’m forsure down.
I guess I’ll wait by the sidelines for now and see all the reviews come in :annoyed:

I think everyone on here is mostly aware that URD is a source for these bolts, however it would be nice to not have to rely solely on one vendor. @406cruiser do you think clutchmasters would entertain adding these to their catalog ?

I just used new OEM flywheel bolts since they are like $20 for the set. For the pressure plate bolts, you can easily source those new from a hardware store, just use grade 8 or higher.

Also sounds like kits are starting to ship and people are getting them so that's sweet! They had a lot to get packaged up and headed out the door so I'm sure by next week everyone should have their kits that has ordered them so far. Clutch Masters did get some good directions up on their website so if anyone wants to reference those you can find them here - http://clutchmasters.com/toyota-tacoma-and-fj-cruiser-internal-hydraulic-slave-cylinder-installation-instructrions/

Another thing to note - There was immense interest in this hydraulic release bearing which is awesome. I chatted with Clutch Masters and it does sound like they are willing to do another group buy, however it sounds like they first want to get setup as vendors on the forum so they can give back to the forum and I don't have to be the intermediary anymore (although I was happy to do so!). Not sure the process to do that or how long it will take but I'm sure once they're all setup they will chime in here and let everyone know!

Got mine in the mail, managed to install the oil cap! Looking forward to doing the clutch and improved T/O bearing next year. Thanks again everyone for doing the group buy, especially to 406cruiser for organizing it. I got to save some cash and the taco will be much nicer.

I got mine yesterday too, along with a new clutch and PP. I am really impressed with the product quality, and with the attention to detail in the packaging. You can tell that Clutch Masters takes pride in every aspect of their work.

There will be another group buy. I was chatting with them and they reached out to TacomaWorld but sounds like they haven't heard back from anyone yet? If there are any mods out there, please PM so I can get you in touch with the guys at Clutch Masters! Sounds like they'd like to get setup as Vendors!!

They really do. I've been using Clutch Masters clutches and have used their hydro bearings in some other applications in the past and the attention to detail and the consistent performance I've had with their parts has kept me coming back. Working with them on developing this kit was great fun. Amazing what it takes to put together a kit like this. It might seem straight forward but there was a LOT of measuring, checking and triple checking to make sure we got everything spot on the first time. I thought we'd maybe have to pull my trans back out and make some slight changes but it all worked the first time perfectly.
Haha it'll be the diamond in the rough! Just get it on there and drive down a dirt road and then it'll all match!

Mine arrived. Clutch too. No oil cap tho. Maybe they were only doing so many? He asked me what color cap I wanted when i ordered. Even typed it on my invoice.
