    The member has not taken delivery yet. Stealerships play games all the time by promising you a price and selling it out from under you. I agree that $2500 off a desirable 2020 AG Pro is almost to good to be true...

    Nah. Buddy bought a lariat didnt get all bells and whistles and paid 60k all in. F150s are crazy expensive. But yeah, 50k for a fully loaded taco is kinda what you pay in some markets.

    It’s pretty wild that it’s the new reality on these things. Unless you get limited options.

    Yeah I know right. No way around it . Here on long island tacos go for MSRP. And good luck finding an OR. They usually have to be ordered which means msrp at the minimum

    Pricey, but the resale value is off the hook. It's one of the main reasons I'm on my 4th Toyota truck...

    From Kelly Blue Book;

    “The Toyota Tacoma has a strong reputation for quality and reliability, two factors that contribute to this midsize truck's high resale value. The Tacoma has earned a trophy every single year dating back to our first set of Best Resale Value Awards, and for 2019, this midsize truck returns as the overall Best Resale Value Award winner for the fifth year in a row.

    Lauded for its legendary, race-tested off-road capability, tough construction and versatility, the Tacoma has a lot to offer truck buyers. It's easier to fit in a garage or park on the street than a full-size truck, with plenty of capability. The 2019 Toyota Tacoma can serve as a reliable truck for work and play that can be configured in more than 30 ways. From staying mostly on-road to tackling extreme off-road, there's an engine, a trim level and plenty of options for you.

    If your adventures take you further down the trail, an available two-speed transfer case, Crawl Control, and Multi-terrain Select - which can be easily bundled together in the TRD Pro -- can make the trip a lot more fun. You can also use the truck to carry an ATV or dirt bikes in the bed. The Tacoma comes with a choice of a 4-cylinder engine or a powerful, efficient V6, and is offered in six trim levels, with two cab sizes, two transmissions, two bed lengths, and an extensive suite of standard safety equipment.

    Not only is the truck versatile, capable and easy to build for your specific needs, but it provides a comfortable ride on the highway and is an agreeable daily driver. In our Toyota Tacoma Expert Review, we note that "With 278 horsepower on tap, the 3.5-liter V-6 moves the Tacoma with brisk bursts of acceleration and also enables it to tow up to 6,800 pounds," and "seating is comfortable, and the cabin logically arranged with all the most important switch gear within easy reach. The Tacoma's ride is firm but not jarring, and the steering is impressively responsive."

    Resale Value
    • at 36 months: 69.4%
    • at 60 months: 62.2%

    4 months ago I paid $30,700 otd for my 2019 SR5 Double Cab V6 2 wheel drive. I called for fun today to price a 2020 equipped exactly the same and was quoted $33,800 otd. MSRP on the 2020 only went up $200 so they aren’t cutting deals on them yet.

    Paying MSRP for a Taco would be the least of my concerns living on Long Island. That savings is a drop in the bucket to property taxes, and all cost of living there. Take a drive to PA or upstate NY and you will save. My last vote on Long Island was my “feet” and fled the blood suckers of Nassau,Suffolk and NYS

    OP what are the offroads going for around you. You might be able to get one for a little more than that. It seems high for an SR5

    MSRP only went up $200. They gave me about $4800 off of my 2019. They are only willing to take off about $2000 off of the 2020.

    Thanks, But I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I walked away because they wouldn't give me the price that I could have gotten with a simple click of the mouse. I'm still on the hunt.

    I went to a different dealer and they did quote me $37,500 for a 2020 Off Road with tech package. I very well may swing by and pick it up tomorrow.
