This is probably a really stupid question but it has never stopped me before.....If I got in an accident what would insurance say if I had injuries?
I want these and already have the rear ones installed but it is a thought that occurred to me.
Also how much is shipping to Canada ?

Not a stupid question but not one I can really answer. I will say that these blocks are built like a brick sh*thouse and when installed and torqued properly should never be a failure point. But like with any mod, they come with risks because they did not come from the factory and were not tested like the factory equipment.

Thats always an option but an insurance agent has no incentive to say "go ahead and install them" and has every incentive to say "All aftermarket parts are a liability"

    Just my two cents.

Having never used these, I can still say they will be a awesome product.
My last truck had great seats. Very supportive, and I could have a nice forward ride seating position.
1-2yrs ago adding spacers under the rear seemed all the rage, didn't make sense to me, but I figured why not I'll give it a try. Made some and absolutely hated them. It made the already forward sloping seat worse for me.
I tried putting 1" spacers under the front, and loved the feel, but could not find a way to safely secure the seat.

I am cheap.....I have looked through pages and see many pics of just the spacers. How would the seats look if I lifted the front of the driver, but skipped the passenger as I rarely have one, and nobody has ever complained. Any pics for comparison?

I just went through all my pictures and couldn't find one that showed a profile of the driver and passenger seat . It doesn't look wonky or disproportional, after all folks with full power seats probably have the driver and passenger adjusted differently and most wouldn't take a second look. Its only a 1-1/4" difference.

I will get a pic and upload it later this week.

Anyone 6'2 and above without a sunroof have any opinions on the head room? Does this decrease head room significantly?

Take either a piece of wooden dowel or even a block of wood. Cut it to the proper thickness I believe I read inch and a quarter, and place it under neath the attachment points at the front of the seat. I did this about a year ago and fell in love with the feeling, just couldn't figure out a way to attach something to be safe.

@pdxrado is 6'-1" and seems to be enjoying them. I cant find the posts but I know there are a couple more guys that are 6'+ with positive results. I'm 6'-1" and dont notice the impact to headroom but it all depends on how close your seat is to the steering wheel.

That would definitely do it, you could also take a bath towel, fold it up and put it on the front part of the seat.

hey Steve what do you recommend for a stripped OE 14mm bolt that's installed in the riser? i can't get any purchase on it with regular tools, and so far I'm not making real headway with the Speedout bits which are cobalt. I'm not really even to German spec on that bolt, but i can't get any hold of it even from the top with needle vise grips. tomorrow I'll try a regular cobalt tip but gotta go buy it. the Speedout bit is worthless on this grade 8.
