This 1983 Jaguar XJ6 had been purchased at an auction by the junkyard owner's friend, who is keeping it there until he can strip it down for parts; Damn shame...

There's a junkyard/salvage/storage yard On U.S. 127 south of Jamestown, Tn. that doesn't look to have a car in it newer then about 1954 or so... Lane Auto Salvage.

I think this vehicle has definitely served its purpose!

 

Not just vehicles of the 4-wheeled variety here, either...

 

There's an early 1980s Chrysler Imperial hiding under all that growth!

Ran across this in my local yard the other day. Any guesses as to what it was in? It was a factory option...

 

Looks like it's transverse-mounted, so definitely something with front-wheel drive...?

Also possible, the 3.8 got SCs in two different displacements.

 

There were a few 1995-2006ish GM cars there that looked like they'd actually been in decent shape when they arrived...

 

A guy I know owns a SC'ed one as his daily. Definetly a different looking car for the time. I think the one at the yard I saw was a 1995 with the lower displacement.

 

There were probably half a dozen Dodge Neons in a row...

 

Any SRT4 Turbo Neons? There is a cult following for those cars.
