Chad! Kurt said you're the guardian of the TTC FB page! Cut loose my post from last Thursday....

 

Not sure what's the issue - I used your original posts on TTC and made it an event - it should be already there. I can paste (or you can) that article in comments/discussion. I will go look again. I made the event like the day after the ATX post.

 

I suffered a terrible loss today..but I'm still out here working. Making stuff for Texas Avid Outdoor Expo this weekend

 

I found what you had on the page, and I have no idea why I couldn't see it before, but I approved the attachment, and now it should be with all the Event stuff. The event was there.

 

My post needed to be approved in the actual Event. It hadn't been.

 

I have no idea why it needed to be approved, and as many stupid messages I get about stuff I don't do that was not among them. I love FB NOT for many things, but it offered my approval, so I did. ANYONE should be able to join in discussion without being approved to do so, it is a "public" party posting to the group.
Anyway, sorry.

 

Kurt, besides me, who are the other 5 that have responded as Going?

 

If you click on the "going" you should see the list. This is "myself" on the page, not my TTC alter ego

 

I did click on Going, which brought up the screenshot I shared. FB pages suck, from a logic standpoint.

 

They do from this standpoint for sure! I have to be the guy with permission to make the event, then I have to like it and share it to get it from the clubhouse to the group page, THEN, I have to decide to be interested or going, and share again to make anyone else see it. (Apparently!)

 

Well, if I put together another event, I'm going to skip the FB mention. Too many hoops.

 

That's why I (stupidly) volunteered. I have more time to be screwed over than most. And we have a lot of TTC members that are only there. And they complained a lot about not knowing when stuff is. And ATX changed meet days to be in line with COTA this year..... blah, blah

Well, I'll be heading down there, but the attendance looks spotty as of now. The beer will still be cold.

 

And the pizza looked good enough to demand a brew or two. Hope they have the Horns on some screen. Unless something goes wrong, I be there. And the Six on FB probably aren't including what TW crew will be there. Oh, I got an idea - you're the OP, hit the original thread and add a going/not poll!

 

And even THOUGH I am listed as GOING (myself) I don't show on the list. But I am going.
And I will still be the FB connection volunteer until it drives me completely nucking futs. Because.
So, on the calendars, I am still a place you can go.

 

Just made a reservation for a RV site at Zips Corner for the Hidden Falls trip 25-27. Has power for CPAP and a fan in the tent. Probably room for another tent if someone else uses a CPAP or something.
